DISGRACED former Ukhozi FM radio presenter Sbu Buthelezi is accused of scamming yet another woman of R200 000. Gcwalisile Madiwane (45) from Bergville in KwaZulu Natal is another victim of Buthelezi's company called Abombuso Investment Group. Madiwane told Zimoja that her problems began in 2019 when she lost her job. She claims that she first heard about investing in Abombuso Investment Group on Ukhozi FM. "I heard about investing in the company through Sbu's show which he did on Ukhozi FM. The show was on Tuesday, where he spoke openly about investing for five months and making 100% profit. I trusted him because I used to hear him preaching on his show," she said.
SHE TOOK ALL HER MONEY AND INVESTED
Madiwane said that she took all the money she got for a package she got at work and invested it in Abombuso hoping to make thousands of Rands. "Investing in that company made me lose everything. I invested R34 000 in November 2019, which was supposed to give me a profit of R68 000 the following year. When it was time for my returns, I started getting stories and till this day I have not received anything. The number I used to communicate with Sbu is no longer working. I was scammed hoping that Sbu was not a fraudster because he was preaching the word of God," she said.

HE BLOCKED HER ON ALL PLATFORMS
Madiwane told Zimoja that the money she is being owed by Buthelezi amounts to R200K. "He blocked me everywhere and now I'm left with nothing. He is nowhere to be found. I can't even locate him as they last communicated with me in May, when he promised to sort out payments, but he has since blocked me everywhere," said Madiwane She added that the R200K was supposed to be paid in February but that never happened.
BRINGING THE COMPANY INTO DISREPUTE
Ukhozi FM terminated Buthelezi's contract in June for bringing the company in disrepute. In a statement that was sent by Ukhozi FM, the management said: "The management of UKhozi FM has decided to terminate the contract of Sbusiso Buthelezi as an independent contractor with immediate effect. This follows several allegations relating to Mr Buthelezi's business dealings that brought the organisation into disrepute. Ukhozi FM wishes to confirm that the station does not have dealings with Buthelezi's private company Abombuso Investment," the statement read.Madiwane said that no case has been opened as she is still hoping to get her investment. Zimoja called Sbu for comment to no avail
