In a shocking discovery by KwaZulu Natal Action SA leader Zwakele Mngcwango, there is a school where three grades, share one class and one teacher. This is happening at Mthunzini Primary School in Newcastle in KwaZulu Natal.

KZN Action SA leader said that it was horrible that there are schools in this state."If you think you know the struggle of a black person. Come to eMthunzini Primary School,  you will be shocked.  I visited this school after numerous outcries over it. We have a crisis where grade one, two and three are sharing the same class.  I was told the school was built over 20 years ago.

With the heat in Newcastle reaching temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius, one can only imagine the heat those pupils have to endure during this heat wave.
"What is most concerning is the bringing together of three different grades into one classroom, with the presence of a single teacher," he said. Sihle Mlotshwa from the education department said that he was on leave and referred ZiMoja to Muzi Mahlamb,i who promised to call us but he never did.
