Another South African artist has died. This follows after rapper Kiernan "AKA' and Tebello "Tibz' Mantsoane were gunned down outside of a Durban restaurant a month ago.
Rapper Costantinos Tsobanoglou (28) fondly known as Costa Titch fell and collapsed during a performance at the World's Premier Electronic Music Festival, Ultra at the Nesrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg?
ON THE DAY OF HIS BIG PERFORMANCE?
Costa was billed to perform Back To Back with Champuru Makhenzo and artists such as DBN Gogo, Uncle Waffles, Msaki and Musa Keys, DJ Lelowhatsgood, Kooldrink, DJ Buhle, DJ Mat_Elle and DJ Lisa Stofella.
Prior to his performance, the Big Flexa singer shared his excitement, saying, "For me, it's also about finding that freedom to create and then sharing it with people on the dance floor. I can't wait to bring the sound,' Costa Titch told fans.
FALLING ON STAGE
In 2021, Costa had released the album "You're Welcome' with AKA who died last month and they toured across the country. After that, he released his own singles including the Big Flexa (Remix) with Akon, Ma Gang Official, and Alfa Kat. A source present at the event says after the rapper collapsed, he was assisted by his dancers. "It looked like he was having a seizure. But he fell once, got up, and just as the song finished, he collapsed again and had a seizure in front of us,' says an audience member. "His friends and dancers helped him up before paramedics came.'
HIS FAMILY IS IN DISBELIEF
Costa's family and management confirmed his death in a statement. "Death has tragically knocked at our door. Robbing us of our beloved son, brother, and grandson," the statement reads. "It is with deep pain that we find ourselves having to acknowledge his passing at this time." The family thanks all those who wish them well and those who assisted after the incident.

Fans and friends have sent an outpouring amount of messages of sadness and condolences after the artist's passing.
