Their relationship is one roller-coaster ride. From claims of physical abuse to alcohol, and drug abuse, they have seen it all. Now, yet again, child star Bongani Fassie is being accused by his partner of 15 years Buhle Sangweni Fassie of abuse and vandalizing her apartment.

THE VIOLENCE AND VANDALISM

Buhle has shared a video of her rundown apartment with broken glasses, destroyed furniture, tables, and ransacked valuables. She claims Bongani is responsible for the mess, and he destroyed her apartment after a heated argument. "This is my house. He literally broke everything. Everything is broken. This is what Bongani Fassie did,' she says. Without going into more details about what exactly happened and whether he had physically assaulted her, Buhle says she is tired of the abuse. "I don't tolerate abusive nig%%as and today, I am going to speak up. I am tired of being hit all the time,' she adds. Bongani (38) tells ZiMoja that he is on his way from the hospital. "I just came from collecting statements and medical documents from the hospital. I have not as yet gone to the police station. I am not okay. I will be able to peak later. I am still really not okay,' he says.

ABUSEAND STABBING

For years, the talented producer and musician has battled with fame. On his reality Finding Bongani Fassie which debut on 5 June 2021 on Moja Love, DSTV channel 157, Bongani has detailed his battle with alcohol and drug abuse and how his wife has at times slapped him. Buhle made it clear that she doesn't care what the public thinks about her actions. Sources close to the parents of two say their relationship has always been "toxic yet filled with love and passion' and they are always fighting. "It's as though they are addicted to pain. They are both toxic. One time Buhle stabbed Bongani. 

They can be good for some time, but they will start again and hurt each other and one day, I fear something serious might happen,' the source says. Another close friend reveals that "Bongani hardly starts the fights. He is sweet but he also somehow seems like he enjoys the drama. It's not healthy. They are both broken,' the friend says. Another friend says the couple had broken up at the end of 2022 and had been living apart. "Buhle got her own apartment, away from Bongani because they are toxic.' In January 2023, Bongani wrote a heartfelt note to Buhle saying he missed her. " I still dream about you and need your affection and everything that comes with it, BUT as it is at the moment I wish you nothing but the best and pray for you while I heal from everything that has happened to me. I still got it for you no matter how bad,' he wrote. "So I want to say and remind you that God is light and you should follow it forever more, please don't Let the darkness devour you, be vigilant and woke for the grace of the almighty God is forever. Let real love be your true compass.'
