The father of celebrity aesthetics doctor and businesswoman, Dr. Nandipha Magudumana and a former prison warder appeared at the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court today on charges of arson for defeating the ends of justice, fraud, and murder.

Zolile Cornelius Sekeleni (65) was arrested at his home in the Eastern Cape while former G4S prison warder Senohe Matsoara (39) was arrested in Bloemfontein over the weekend following their involvement in aiding convicted murderer and rapist Thabo Bester to escape from prison.?

MURDER CHARGE 

The state alleges that on or around 3 March 2022, the pair killed an unknown man around Bloemfontein. It is believed that the unknown man's charred body was the one found inside Bester's prison cell in May 2022. Motsoara who was a security supervisor was dismissed by G4S in September last year after it was discovered that he helped Bester escape. The two also face charges of arson for the fire in Bester's cell.?

BAIL APPLICATION 

Their matter was postponed to April 17 for further investigations and a possible bail application. Nandipha and her lover were arrested on Friday night in Tanzania as they were making their way to the Kenyan border. Bester escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Services Center last year and has been in hiding ever since.
