Couple arrested for Soweto muthi murders

Tsiamo Rabanye and Nqobizitha Zulu's alleged murderers have been arrested

A couple has been arrested in connection with murdering two Soweto boys who were found dead and mutilated in White City and Rockville. Police spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed that a 50-year-old woman and her 39-year-old Ben 10 were arrested on yesterday and charged with the murders. Masondo said the arrest was as a result of investigations at the homes of the two boys. "Two suspects were brought in for questioning and the pair has since been charged with murder,' Masondo said.  

A TRAGEDY IN SOWETO 

Tshiamo Rabanye (5) and Nqobizitha Zulu (6) were reported missing by their parents last week Wednesday at Moroka Police Station. Their bodies were found the next day after hours of searching. They were found 1.4 km apart in Rockville and White City with missing body parts. The incident sparked outrage and fear amongst Soweto residents who urged parents to make sure that every child is indoors by 6pm, before it gets dark. 

 LIVES CUT SHORT 

Hundreds of Soweto residents gathered in White City where held a candlelight prayer in remembrance of the boys yesterday. It was a somb couldn't hold back their tears sharing the the pain that is felt by families of the deceased boys. The suspects will appear in the Protea Magistrates Court on Friday.
