Babes Wodumo said to have bagged new season of Uthando Lodumo

Babes Wodumo will be back on the small screen documenting her life after Mampitsha

Since the death of her husband, things have not been easy for Gqom queen Bongekile "Babes Wodumo' Simelane with reports that she was left in debt. But Babes will soon be smiling all the way to the bank. 

SECURING THE BAG

The widow of the late kwaito star Mandla 'Mampintsha' Maphumulo has been offered Season four of her shownand it will be called Uthando Lodumo: Life After Mampintsha. A close source to the situation says Showmax has already finalised the deal with Babes. According to an insider, Babes brings in numbers and people intrigued by her story especially after the drama with Mampintsha's family after his death. "We're so happy for Babes. The show is emotional, but it will help her to heal.' The source says the production has already started.

NEW SEASON

The show will follow her life before and after Mampintsha's death. "Babes is trying to secure her future especially after her husband died, she has a family to take care of including a small baby.' Babes has been advised not to settle for less, especially now that she is aware that the production wants more of her. "The show received such good reviews that the TV channel had no choice but to give the show another season. When called for comment Babes laughed and dropped the phone.

MAMPINTSHA'S DEATH

Big Nuz member Mandla "Mampintsha' Maphumulo died in December after suffering a minor stroke. The 40-year-old was hospitalised a week after he returned from a performance with Big Nuz.
